tried that! it comes back the same way– with the multiple date column. Whats weird is that this just occurred recently. It was never like this, but I have no Idea what caused it. I appreciate your help anyway. If you think of something, let me know. I'll keep searching...

It works on the mail window (inbox) but i have the multiple heads when I have a single email open and i open the "attach file" window. Thats where this appears. See my link in a previous post.

I'm on a Mac, so there's no right-click, but if I click and hold the control or the command or the option button all that does is reverse the order of items (newest to oldest, oldest to newest.

Also, I see the triplicate "date modified" column heads when I attach a file to an outgoing email. The headings are to my liking in the in box.

Yes. I can adjust the width of the column headings (there are now 3 "date modified" and 1 "file name" headings) but I can't delete them. dragging the column width only goes so far. there become narrower, but they remain.

I have the same issue with Mac Mail (v3.8 on Mac OSX 10.5.8) When I attach a file I am now seeing 3 Date Modified columns along with the file name column. I haven't updated any OS, etc. This anomoly appeared several weeks ago. I deleted the mail cache file with no change. Any suggestiosn would...
