Thanks for the advice Satcomer. This has no effect unfortunately - it says the database is all fine. The error number is -17900, which I can't seem to find much out about by googling. I wonder if that helps anyone narrow it down? Also, I can send from Mac Mail fine, using the same settings...

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with this. I'm not very technical but will try to explain precisely. Entourage is not sending mail - error returned 'incorrect authentication data'; it asks if I'd like to re-enter my password. Repeated re-entering of password does not result in mail sending...
