    Mac OS X Beta does not support full sleep capabilities on desktop Macs. This is the reason that you see the screen only dim - full Energy Saver power-saving features are not yet implemented. AlternativeTest for Laptops: Put your Powerbook into X Beta sleep mode and see how long the battery...

    OS X on WALL STREET POWERBOOK

    OSX is a slow as molasses. Even on my G4/450 w/512MB of RAM at work OS X's window redrawing, application opening, etc is extremelly choppy. Hoping that this all has to do with lack of video acceleration and debugging code. Speed
