nice idea but i am using my old windows note book here on the same connection so if this works then its not the network... its the MacBook

I have just got myself a new MacBook, a massive move since my PowerBook of the old days. I live on a boat and use a public wifi network "Squaremile" to connect to the internet, when the machine arrived it booted and connected to the network without problems, ran all the patches and updates, then...
