I dont have any "smart" calendars.

Thanx for the response. Just noticed that in iTunes in the info tab I cant see any of my various calendars (that I have in iCal) unlike the various groups that I have in my address book. Could this be the problem? How do I fix this?

I use Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5.6) and a 1st Generation iPhone (Firmware 2.2.1). When I syn through iTunes8, everything other than the Calendar gets synced. I've just reset my iSync history and chose replace information on iPhone with the iCal information and its completely wiped out every calender...
