When I reformatted my G3 Mac I installed my OS X before using the restore CD’s. Now when I try to use the first of 5 cd’s it says that it doesn’t recognize it. Should I have used the software restore cd’s before installing OS X or because thr OS X software originally came with the new imac.

I recently installed OS X on my G3 Mac.The Software restore cd’s didn’t work so I do not have OS 9(classic) installed. I have Director MX and I need to open a Director 8 file but don’t know how without OS9, what can I do.(sorry, question mark doesn’t seem to work, but thats another...
