Yeah, it was. So does that mean I can't use it on my mac?

I used it on another computer and it worked just fine. Whenever I try with mine, it won't recognize my iPod at all.

My mac doesn't recognized the iPod. It says that it's an invalid thing and it needs to be ejected. My iPod doesn't show up in itunes either.

My nano G3 won't get the music from my itunes. Anything? (P.S. I'm super young and have no knowledge of computers. Well, a little.)
