    Que!M3 freezing problem

And, if anyone is reading this, I tried using Carbon Copy Cloner, and it still froze. The activity can't be killed from the dock or 3-finger salute, but once I shut off the Que, I am immediately told that I put it away incorrectly and that I may have suffered data loss. Anyone?

    iTunes 4 questions

There is an OUTSTANDING thread over at MacRumors summarizing all the information on the Apple Fairplay DRM. Clear answers to my 1 and 3 questions, and many questions I hadn't thought to ask. I feel very comfortable with this DRM.

    iTunes 4 questions

Thanks CQ, just the info I was looking for. Now I'll just wait a couple more days for the bug reports. And Androo, regarding Item 2, it is a partnership, so I think that was a real concern; if Universal asks Apple to check, could they?

    iTunes 4 questions

I've been reading a lot, but I haven't installed iTunes 4 yet because I haven't figured out answers to these questions. Could someone help? [list=1] If I rip a CD in AAC format, is the resulting file subject to the same Rights Management as the AAC songs from the Apple store? Is there any...

    Que!M3 freezing problem

Just wanted to add a couple more thoughts; the inital copying goes OK, so half of the files end up on the destination drive. There is no consistency as to which file or type of file is the one that it locks up on.

    Que!M3 freezing problem

I have a Que!M3 external firewire hard drive on my iMac DV/SE, and am running OSX 10.2.3. I use this drive for backup purposes. However, when I perform a large copy (multi-GB), the copy locks up partway through. I can't even kill the copying process without turning off the HD. This problem...

    Safari and Hotmail not working?

To say this a bit more gently... Hotmail is Microsoft, and will likely only be "guaranteed" to work on the latest flavor of Windows AND the latest flavor of Internet Explorer at any time. There are many other free web-based email addresses out there, I would recommend transitioning to one of...

    Safari Bookmarks: two thoughts

I think I agree as well; but I found it disconcerting when I used it the first time, so I wanted to see what others thought. Already done.

mail.app unread status - not from mailserver?

Geez, I hate when other people do this, but it's been nearly six months, so *bump*. (I hate myself now.)

    Aqua Safari

Man, I just looked at ddma's screenshot, and for a second thought he had also enabled Tabs somehow. Nope, just Apple's homepage.

    Safari Bookmarks: two thoughts

In the Bookmarks organizer, the top two items in the Folders side are (working from memory) Bookmarks Menu and Bookmarks Toobar. Move the folders or individual bookmarks to those folders, and you get them. I guess that's what Steve means about Thinking Different.

    Safari Bookmarks: two thoughts

    1. The bookmarks organizer is nice, but it seems to be inconsistent with iTunes and iPhoto. In these iLife apps, items are all in a big library, and are copied into folders as you drag them. In Safari, there is no main library, and items are moved. 2. There is no iTunes-style "find" box for...

    Safari - Toggling between pages

Thank you very much, I was about to ask the same thing. For some reason, this key combination isn't listed in Safari-Help-Shortcuts. (Now, if we could just get Tabbed Browsing...)
