No Apple software on the disc :( Adobe have told me, even though it is printed as for Macs on the disc.

How does one do it ? When I insert the disc it will not even recognise that the disc is in the machine. I have made a copy of the disc on someone else's computer and it now recognises the disc and shows me the contents but it will not install. Help!
