When i try to launch Boot Camp, i get the following error msg "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition"

I partitioned my Macbook to install windows XP now i want to unmount the 10GB partition i created for XP, delete and re-join the portion with the main partition safely. I tried using Disk Utility but could not reconfigure.
