barhar, I forgot to reply to the second part of your reply, where you say that DiskImageMounter should be in System\Library\CoreServices. I couldn't see DiskImageMounter there. Alphabetically it went from coreservicesd to Dock. Does this mean that the application has somehow got deleted...
