There's a computer-to-computer network showing up on the list of networks when I click on the airport icon. Might be a dumb questiong but anyone know whether this means my computer is involved? I turned off all sharing.

is it possible to install GNU-Darwin or any GNU OS on a MacBook (2GHz). I have Mac OS 10.4.1. The GNU web sites have download and instructions for PowerPC only. Anyone can help? I want to run a copyleft/open source OS on my computer.
