    Router and DHCP problem

    Hi The 169.x.x.x is an invalid IP address it makes up when it doesn't get one from the router. Did you do the software reset or the hardware? Have to tried another cable?

    The option is in system preferences ---> network ---> airport ---> options ----> then theres a little ticky box with create computer to computer networks just untick it and you should be alright Hope this helps

    Check if you can communicate with the other machines with that machine? You havn't accidently assigned your own IP address on the machine have instead of using DHCP? Otherwise by the sounds of its jiggered

    Well I killed all my widgets and when I now open the dashboard and close it then try the internet it works! Gotta find out which widget it is now

    If your getting a postscript printer I'd recommend getting a Brother 2700CN (for Colour) or a Brother 6050 (for Black and White), we have loads of Brother printers at work and they all perform excellently.
