I have trashed Time Machine, but I keep getting the splash screen that says it hasn't been updated. Plus I have turned it off, but it still keeps trying to do the backup. How do I get rid of the splash screen or make it really be off.

I'm out of town right now, but I shall give this a try when I come back. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have Appleworks 6 loaded, but it isn't working anymore. It used to work fine. I have the hard drive partitioned and in OS 9.2.2 it works fine. Help!
