    I love my mac G4 mini, it outperforms my windows machine two to one which has a much higher clock speed. That's why I raised such a fuss, but after reading that Snow Leopard is only a small upgrade I'm not concerned about it though. I prefer to stay behind for now in the PPC platform for now...

    So Mac is abandoning the PPC platform from then on? Bad enough they went the way of Intel but to leave all these users stuck at a particular operating system with software being developed for the newest OS available we are forced to ditch our equipment and upgrade. Might as well buy a WIN...

    I've seen where Snow Leopard will support only Intel Macs. Is this true and will there probably be a work-around for this like X-Post Facto does for older Macs wanting to run Mac OSX?

    Mac OSX installed updates

    I looked at installed updates and there wasn't anything listed. My main concern is the software update telling me it can't find an internet connection when I'm clearly online. Is the default browser safari and do I need to make sure it's set that way. Thanks DavidKline

    Is there a way to view the updates installed to MacOS? For some reason my Software Update informs me that there is no connection to the server even though I'm online. Does this use Safari as default? I use Firefox and have reinstalled Safari but I still can't get it to work. Thanks DKline
