apple + opt and click on show pallet...Wow I figured out my own question, hopefully this can help someone...:)

I have a Intel MacPro, sometimes when I restart I just get a grey screen, and If I try a few times it will boot up, but it takes a long time. Can anyone shed light on this. Thanks

Ok, I'm using QuarkXpress with a add on called Design Merge, well it has a pallet that I believe is off my viewable screen area. I have done the show pallet, hide pallet, but no luck. Any ideas on how to reset pallet positions? or should I hook up another monitor to find it..
