filevault did work last year from the day of the keynote !!! i did install the developers preview and installed in and encrypted my 20 GB home folder .... it worked (not perfect) but was included !!!

many did complain bout brushed metal... but it was a fraction of the mac community :) still brushed metal does look nicer on any iapp :) and certainly much better than the circus XP looks like.... still i do remember a few pics of longhorn with a grey metal interface... but im sure kendall...

no ppl didnt say the same bout brushed metal :) and if u dont like it there are apps to remove it... from my point of view i really like it and i see it bein used more in real world devices.. eg my new mobile phone, Sony Ericsson K700 :)its great... if u know 1 or 2 things bout design!

first of all, noone knows anythin bout Tiger. apple is doin a great job at keepin EVERYTHIN and everyone silent!!! the rumour sites dont get anythin right. any speculation that comes out to be true, is made 1 or 2 days before the anouncement of the product. so.. NO .. nobody knows...

when i say .mac is better, i see it from my point of view. now i use email for private use, so i dont use up that many MBs of email!! what i like bout .mac (and thats why i pay) is its integration to the system.. its amazing what u can do with .mac if u get to know it, and the future will...

the water cooling is introduced in a DUAL 2.5ghz system... thats a lot of heat. :) a G5 powerbook woul run at a lower (single) processor rate ... im sure theyll manage somethin by january :)
