    Airport drift

    I was having some problems with my TiBook with a Linksys wireless access point...try upgrading the firmware on your wireless access point and see if that solves the drifting problem. Don't know why I didn't think of that last night. :)

    X11 only as root user!!!

    I just downloaded Fink, followed the link to the Jaguar instructions from the download page and X11 worked fine as a normal user. :) You can install whatever window manager you want. http://fink.sf.net/

    Airport drift

    How many 2.4GHz devices do you own in the house (or do your neighbors have within range)? Many 2.4GHz spread spectrum wireless phones interfere with wireless networks. Microwave ovens could also be a potential source of interference.

    My Quicksilver won't start up!

    Keep an eye out for funky crashes, freezes and kernel panics from here on in. I had the same problem with my G4/1.0 QS DP and pressing the reset button worked for a while. About a month later the system died completely and I was unable to resurrect it. The local Apple Store ended up replacing...
