    btw thanks for all the replies. it has been very helpful. im still deciding on buying myself a used older model 15" or saving up and getting a 1ghz new model 15". the 1.25ghz is out of reach economically =(

    does anyone know if you can add the backlit keyboard to the 1ghz 15" new model. is there like an accessory or replacement part? or is the only way to get it to buy the 1.25ghz and stuff. also does anyone know when the titanium new model 15" models are coming.

    memory issues (please help!)

    i have a mac g4 400 os9 before i only had 2 64 memory cards installed and in my system apple profile it said i had 128 built in memory but in my memory control panel it says i only have 90 built in memory. why is it different? whenever i open adobe illustrator it says i dont have enough...

    how to permanently delete files(nortons' unerase files)

    i have norton utilities on my mac at work and when i ran the unerase option it listed a whole bunch of files that i deleted long time ago and were recoverable. i was wondering if theres a way/program i could permanently delete those so that next time when i run unerase they wont be there again...
