Reading the thread gives me hope that maybe someone here knows the right way to clone my boot drive to a new, external Firewire drive, so that I can use it as a bootdrive. My puny 40 GB bootdrive is pretty near full, and when I used Carbon Copy Cloner everything that was supposed to happen...

I haven't done it yet, but it looks like you can simply convert the MP3's that you have to AAC, if you want. I think I'll keep the MP3's and convert to a different folder so that I'll have both.
