I get white text against a black background, short pause and a white screen and then everything goes to a standard boot on my primary partition for OS X... Is that a good or a bad thing??

Cabbage- Thanks for the info... Started with Apple+V and i got lots of text, everything appeared to load fine, and then I was into Ten on my regular partition... I will try it again and see if I see anything that might give me a clue... When in doubt - restart ;)
