    So, a user deleted the etc directory in OS 9 for OS X. now it boots me into a shell. How can I boot into OS 9 using the command line (open firmware too?) options. Boot CD is not an available option because the system administrators locked it up. RFC?

    I have an epson Stylus 900n (network). It prints great and works great when it work... but periodically it just dissapears! Poof!! Gone!!! Have you tried Printer over IP? Enter the network address of the printer.. It should always be there after that.

    if you can't delete the printer, add a new version of it anyways. set that as your default printer (will be in bold), and try to print again.

    Appletalk Printing

    Apple -> System Prefernces -> Network -> Select your internet connection from "show: " menu. goto the appletalk tab, make sure Appletalk is enabled. Also check to see if you are selected in the right zone.

True story here, Think of "Screen Saver" as your defrag tool. They both do exactly the same thing, nothing. Defraging is in the windows world, leave it there.
