I'm with Ulrik. PC's of comparable price to a Mac are generally faster, though they often do not include things like the Superdrive or the more refined industrial design/ergonomics.

Well, apart from that I don;t think there's any signifigant diference in mail qualities. I guess you should make sure they have the poper amount of space and that they wouldn't be bothered by excessive checking (i.e. you check your mail once a minute. :D).
