    Can't get telnet to work.

    Possibly, you are using a different IP to telnet to than should be used. You need to try 127.0.0.1 first, not 10.0.0.x :) Neil

    Modem not recogning engaged signal

    Well, there has definitely been a recent firmware update, but that is to enable you to use 56.Flex as well as V90 (I think). Hmm, I'm not sure about this. If you are still under warranty, you may as well call Apple Support on 0870 6024831. HTH neil

    Print center failes to open

    I did have the same problem. What kind of printer are you using? I've a USP HP Deskjet 950c. To fix it, I shut down, unplugged the usb printer, restarted, opened print center (it crashed), then re started with the USB plugged in. It then seemed to work. HTH neil

    IE and StuffIt

    I've tried to set the helpers in IE, but you can't for some reason. The dialogue box will only let you select pre OS X apps. Another problem is with proxies. The HTML one will NOT turn on! Ahh well, I suppose that it is a preview release...

    Php

    Whilst browsing randomly through system>library, I noticed a PHP folder. Does this mean that I can programme PHP in the OS (IE: save a text file as .php and open it in Internet Explorer), or would I need to do something else, for example change the .config through terminal? Many thanks, Neil

    partition?

    I haven't posted before, but I thought that I'd jump in here, as OS X will be arriving tomorrow :-) ... I'm assuming that it would be possible to partition after installing without partitioning, if you see what I mean. However, my question is: How would I go about restoring my data on the OS X...
