    Please help!

I've been having troubles with my HD for a few days now. The problems started with Safari not wanting to boot up, taking its time. Then, after booting up, it would crash after loading a page. The problem's gotten worse, much worse. I can no longer edit/move/create any files on my HD. I tried...

    Viruses On Os X

Possibly the first true virus... I've been having troubles with my HD for a few days now. Today finally, it reached the point of no return... where files started to get deleted, I can't edit my HD or accounts, it seems hopeless. I have no idea what's going on... I've got to make another quick...

    Strange safari problem...

I've searched around and can't find anything that really relates to my problem(s) here... One night I connected up to the net and opened up Safari (by far my favorite web browser). I typed in my favorite website (macosx.com) and noticed that it took a REALLY long time to load. Much longer...

    Yet another XHTML quick question...

Hey thanks for all the help. Really. Most of that stuff is really pointless, the layout and design (basically the entire page) is useless with the exception of me warming up my XHTML skills. As long as the code is "ok" I'm fine with it. I'm not looking for the BEST in standards just yet.

    Yet another XHTML quick question...

I messed around with your help. But I just HAD to try my idea out (for future references, and because I couldn't sleep unless I tried.) Is this acceptable coding? Pretty much ignore everything on the page, I don't care how professional or how crazy anything is, just the overall idea (and coding)...

Get paid to work from home!

But seriously... has anybody tried working for one of those companies? I've seen a ton of advertising for this type of thing on Monster.com but I'm not sure if it actually pays off. No pun intended. Reason being, i'm looking for a job right now while I'm getting my design portfolio put...

    Yet another XHTML quick question...

It's just an example page, none of that text is going to be used on the actual project. But thanks for the quick grammar lesson, god knows I need need it. :)

    Yet another XHTML quick question...

Hello again. This time I'm having trouble with simple text and images. And I've provided an example of what I'm trying to do (remember copyrights if you take a look please.) Here's the problem after looking at my example: the text on the left of the big image isn't actual text, it's an image...

    Really pathetic XHTML question(s)

Question: In plain XHTML how do I change the color and style of a link? I want to make my links a plain color and have no underline... but I can't seem to work out how to do it. [Edit: Another question is:] How can I put a space between plain text on a page? For example, if I want this...

    Upgrading iBook memory/RAM...

Thanks for all the help. Yes, it is a G3 (dual USB, 500Mhz). Believe it or not in a typical day I end up using quite a few Adobe applications, iTunes and Safari here and there. And occasionally a small game.

    Upgrading iBook memory/RAM...

Sorry, but just so you are aware: I am not a Mac newbie. I've been using them for almost six years now. But I don't deal with the technical side as much as I probably should. Anyway, I did find some memory I would love to buy. But when I go into the System Profiler and look at my memory...

    Upgrading iBook memory/RAM...

How can I tell how much memory I can add to my iBook? If I buy some online is it easy to install at home by myself, or should I bring it to an Apple place and have them install it?

    A tragic tale...

Ok, well, here's the story: I'm really kinda sad. I want a powerful, new, computer. But I can't afford one. I can't afford anything even resembling a new computer. And it sucks. The computer I have right now has dents and bumps in it, the CD drive is TAPED close. And it won't run ANY of the...

    Overclocking via software...

I seem to have found my answer, and I'm very sad about it. Found it here: http://www.macosx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43931 Looks like my little iBook is just 100Mhz short of being eligable for this little "hack" That sucks.
