There is no ordinary VGA area in the back of the G5. It is a smaller plug than the one I am using for my main computer. I bought a connector, it does not work - the distal end is a 24 pin, nothing fits together.

I bought an LG 2nd monitor. The g5 has two screen outlets. The 2nd monitor has a vga AND dvi but only came with dvi cable, which will not fit into the mac. help
