Thanks Cheryl, I tried the print center repair, (which reset the print center) and it worked great. Now I can use the Epson printer and scanner in Photoshop and all my other applications except for Painter 7. I uninstalled Painter 7, and will be getting Painter 8 soon, so hopefully that problem...
