    Can't backup to Time Machine Disk

    I keep getting message "time machine is read only".....I check "get info" for time machine disk and it is set to "read-write" .....Can't backup any files....even though there is 71gb free on disk....can you help me solve this issue? ......thanks!!! Sal Nicosia
