    Chooser gives me two choices - Laserwriter 8 and AppleShare. AppleTalk is not active. When I select Laserwriter 8, an error screen comes up and tells me that AppleTalk must be active for Laserwriter 8 to work and tells me to go to the Appletalk Control Panel to turn it on. Come to find out...

    Changing default data drive to external in Panther

    want to only allow the users read/write access to the external drive, and read-only access to the internal drive. Believed I had done that in the System Preferences section already but found my daughter added her music to her folder on the internal drive vice the external.

    Got the 5MP working with Panther 10.3.9 but Classic programs (mainly MS Office 2001) won't print. HELP!!!! Boss (my wife) is getting annoyed....

    Changing default data drive to external in Panther

    Can it be done? Want to lock down software on internal cube 20 GB and use external 250 GB USB 2.0 as default data repository for all users' data. Thanks in advance.
