    Boot time duration?

I can't vouch for that, as I don't have access to developmental builds of Tiger, legally. But just remember, Tiger is still a good 6 months away, i'm sure improvements will be made :)

    Boot time duration?

I am not surprised that boot speed on Tiger is improved. From a lot of what i've read, it seems that decreasing boot time is quite a high priority for Tiger.

    Doom III

haha 32mb of VRAM? Doom 3 will laugh at anything under an ATI 9600. My friend's got an nVidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 (128) with an AMD Atlon XP 2200 and 768 megs of pc3200 ddr ram, and Doom 3 is barely playable with decent graphics settings...only time will tell how crappy the port is ::sleepy::

    Gmail POP/IMAP client/Gmail in Mail.app

Well looks like we won't have to be worrying about a workaround for getting gmail to work with our favorite email client -- POP3 support is here! I just configured it in my gmail account :) http://infoworld.com/article/04/11/10/HNgmailpopthree_1.html

    Mac OS X 10.3.6 Seeded

First repair permissions, if you haven't, and then try to get the receipt out of there. If it still doesn't work... Try downloading and installing the 10.3.6 Combo Updater http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosxcombinedupdate_10_3_6.html

    Mac OS X 10.3.6 Seeded

Can someone do me a favor real quick and read me the value for "WebKitInitialTimedLayoutDelay" in your com.apple.Safari.plist is? I am curious if Apple changed this value, mine is 0.000001, but i'm not sure if that's because of Safari Speed or the latest Safari update and i think originally...

    Mac OS X 10.3.6 Seeded

Well it's not 1.2.6! hehe...it's 1.2.4 (v125.11), but i just wanted to say that i find this version of Safari much snappier when rendering pages. What do you guys think? Is this just my mind playing tricks on me wanting Safari to be the fastest browser for OS X? :P Can't wait till Hao Li...

Would disabling IPv6 in the network preferences offer any type of trouble-shooting value?
