    PC vs. Mac

Hey, I said G3 because I just did exactly that. What makes me sad is that it'll be another 5-7 years before I can afford a Mac with the GX processor. And I fully expect that my PowerMac 7200/120 will become my third computer at that time. I wonder how many 486mhz PCs will be around....

problem playing CDs burned with iTunes

iTunes allows for very little space between songs. I'm not sure this is a setting and I can't check at the moment, but perhaps it has something to do with that?

New Apple & Mac Web Site

On the one hand, I appreciate that you love Macs and want to build another Mac site...on the other hand, what value does it bring to the Web? There are a slew of half-completed Websites out there on all sorts of topics, and I'm skeptical that one person will be able to maintain a site...

Well said. Except that they still refuse to recognize that many Mac users are raging drunks. Haggis!

    What religion are you?

I'm not disappointed at all, Klink. You like what you like. I just remember Ayn Rand's books being intellectually amusing in the area of selfishness (and Technocracy, if I'm not mistaken). As for me, I'm afraid I just don't have it in me to believe in God. I converted to athiesm when I was 17...

    New iBook?

Crud. Sorry, didn't read closely enough...if you already have a g3 ibook I would wait. In the next 6 months I would expect some exceptional enhancements. Geez, I waited forever to 'up' from my PM 7200--which is still running, BTW--I wish I had your quandry!

    New iBook?

Don't wait. Just don't do it. I put my order in for one of the little ibooks (before they launched the big screen version); before they placed it Apple contacted me and said all the prices had changed and the big screen version was available. Instead, I chose to max it out (640 MB RAM, 30 gig...
