Only Macintosh computers releasing in 2003 will not be able to boot into Mac OS 9. Current Macintosh are still bootable to OS 9. Think about this: if Apple removed the ability for currect Macs, many people would sue Apple because their Macs was said to support Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

I think the latest build of Chimera is nearly prefect... Bookmarks now can display site icons. Scrolling is smoother. Loading is faster. Page rendering is faster. Flash drawing bug has been fixed. The latest Flash player plug-in is smoother. Just... All things go better :)

10.3 will support all Windows applications natively and run all Mac OS X applications in Classic. OS 9 will be no longer supported.

I don't care about OS 9 any more. Since 10.1.x, I have no OS 9 installed. I would love to see if ICQ would be intergrated! ICQ is my primary IM tool but yet the client is so buggy. Also, it would save my dock if I had to only open iChat :)

So far there is a bug they need to fix... Spring-loaded Finder's window should pop up as the front most window! For example, when you are draging a file and spring-loading some windows while Chimera is the currect application, those windows are covered by Chimera.

toast, i think what Apple has done is right for different users. Apple doesn't enable it on OS X by default (and even no option in Disk Utilities) means normal user doesn't need to pay too much attention to it.

When I got my new iMacc 17" in August, it crashed nearly every 1 or 2 days, and sometimes ever crashed a few times in a day! But later on, I found out that I had used some bad memory. After I replaced the memory, it crashed lesser. Around 3 - 6 days uptime, when it was running 10.2.0. It was not...
