I have the 15gig iPod and rarely use the on the go playlist feature. But so far I havn't taken my iPod on any really long trips. I'm sure it would come in handy then.

I have a related problem. I leave for the weekend and come home on sunday to find my computer booted upand running after i shut it off on friday before I left! It freaked me out the first time. Why does it do this? I can't figure it out at all. Is OS X booting it up to do the processes at night...

Yea. Thats what i'm missing. I like looking at the art. Right now a simple cover image does nothing for me.

I think this "cover art" thing is such a joke. I hate how apple is trying to push this as if its some big benefit. Big deal just the cover picture. The liner notes and inside booklet art are way more important then some little 15k jpg that apple gives you. Can't do anything with it anyway...

Well I got the new iPod and need a transmitter. Griffin messed up by not waiting until the new iPods came out or getting the info to make a revised one before they released them all. So what i'm trying to say is i'm sick of waiting. I guess i'll get the iRock or whatever is on apples site.

I've always had great customer service with Apple. I think you hear the bad ones because they seem to get all the attention. While in manufacturing there always are a few that fail most of them are just fine and have no problems. So I wouldn't be too worried with it. As far as bad reviews I...

Yea the rips from cd's are better since no degradation comes from manufacture cd's from the studio etc. I got my iPod today and they sure do sound nice on it. Oh and I'm not hearing any drop in volume in any aac files on ipod. I think i found out what it is. The sound "enhancer" in iTunes...

Man. I'm in Washington state. So they shipped from california. Then it went to Ohio then back to Washington. hehe. nevertheless its on the truck for delivery :D And I just got a CD in the mail i ordered. I shall resume ripping now.

My iPod has shipped. Via Airborne priority overnight. I guess it should get here by friday then! Anyone else? I'll post pics in the gallery when i get it :D

Checked the status of my order. Shipping method now says "priority overnite" . Looks like they are trying to make the promise. I hope it gets here soon! I'll post some pics of it when i get it! ;)

No i've never ever had that option on. As far as the Nine Inch Nails song that fading is apart of the song. I have it on CD. That is how it is mixed actually.

The store no longer has the promise of having iPod in hand on friday if you order. Only was there yesterday and the day before. I still have recieved no reply from apple.com regarding this promise. They shouldn't promise stuff they can't deliver on!
