OK well I was just wondering if there was any way to get Darwin to work on a Compaq Presario. It's kinda old. I was wondering if it would be hard to find drivers and stuff, what windows system I could use and if I would be better off with Red Hat 7.0? Well any help would be greatly appreciated...

HaHa I do use Chimera primarily but it seems that I'm being pushed more and more to IE which sucks ... it takes care of most of the stuff i like, like java (even though i still can't get into the live chat here) .... and anything else like quicktime a lot of stuff just doesn't work on chimera

I've done the whole helloworld program already... like i said im using a book and normaly you would read a book from cover to cover and any programming book has the helloworld app in it :D thanx though and i'll try the capitol j thing i could have sworn i checked it but those things happen you know?

OK I bought a book.... to help me learn java. I chose java because it is multiplatform (so i figured the book would be good for macs too) and now im getting some error messages when i go to compile the code on the command line. 5 errors and all are "Cannot resolve symbol" I was wondering is...

I'm not sure if any one else has asked this but if I have Apple's Developer tools installed how do I compile a java program in the command line? Any help would be appreciated.

i have tried numerous other floppy works fine in os 9 im using 10.1.5 it just won't show the disk ... don't actually know if it's working or not is there any way to actually force the disk to mount using the terminal?

OK guys this one has puzzled me for some time now .... My psychology teacher told me his VST Floppy worked fine with OS X he just plugged it in and it worked .... when i plug mine in it lights up sounds like its reading the disk but i see no floppy in the computer window ... help guys :\

I don't know about the whole default browser ... but my download folder is reset to the desktop ... and my default browser might also have changed ... i didnt notice it till now though ... hmmmmm

TactOps blows my stinky butt farts... that game is no fun ... and it seems like its just trying to be like counter strike ... (which it failed to do ) all the fans seem to be all anti counter strike but come on the game is friggin counter strike! I also may hate it because I'm playing it on...

My hp deskjet blows ... its not listed as being supported ... but it does say deskjet series and it will show up in the select printer window (after several reinstalls of the driver) and i finally got it to work ... now its not working again :( poop
