I don't think so. OS 9 did this, but I think now they expect you to access the files through music software. I believe iTunes will remember the track names even if you don't rip the CD. Not sure though. The track names can definitely not be stored on the CD. OS 9 kept some kind of a database for...

I'm guessing by your name that you're using a laptop. If you are connected to the internet when ripping a CD, iTunes can grab the track names from CDDB. Otherwise it just has no idea what to call them unless you manually enter the names.

I really don't think they'll do this. From a marketing standpoint, it seems bad to expect people to pay for increments of .1. This next version may very well be 10.5. But I guarantee we'll be seeing Mac OS XI before 2010 (or 2005 for that matter.)

I definitely think it will be XI. Apple (unlike Microsoft) believes in consistency in naming conventions. You know, for a while it seemed like we were getting all of this stupid "my country is better than yours" crap behind us.:rolleyes:

From what I've gathered you just need to make sure youre getting themes for 10.1 and not 10. I had it for a while and had no problems. I installed metamorphX once (never again.) I removed it because I realized none of the themes comes close to aqua. The only one that's any good is the one...
