That doesn't really do it for me.. even instantly beginning typing after the new folder gets created.. it just starts trying to select whatever item is in the same directory beginning with the letter I type.

Hope one of you can figure out how to put it on the login screen's background. I know I sure can't figure out how... In the instructions listed on resexcellence, the command was listed as ScreenSaverEngine -background & What's the & for?

Shutdown -h now did successfully shut down the computer.

I know you can make your screensaver act as your desktop while you're logged in, but can you make your screensaver the background before you even log in?

What can I look at to determine why it's doing this? I'm not doing shutdown -h but shutdown now. All those errors talk about something of which I have no clue.

I'll try that command.. but does anyone have ideas on why I'm having problems with shutdown, or what those errors mean?

I tried looking at the advanced screen.. but in my list I see no spot for "Windows printer via SAMBA". Zeroconf registered.. LPD.. Appletalk.. blah blah.. but Nothing about SAMBA. Anyone have some ideas?
