I have that happen too. The side buttons are very sensitive. You're probably actually squeezing them just enough to make them activate.

Seems odd on my Intel iMac too. At first I was all excited as Dreamweaver has some great new features. But I saw the beachball more than I wanted too when switching from one app to Dreamweaver or Fireworks. Not sure the hang up either. I thought it was an Intel issue. ;)

Well fireworks saves as PNG files and they stay vector. Not web PNG files, Fireworks source files. What I like about fireworks is it's easy to create and edit vector graphics along with bitmaps, add filters and remove them at any time and it just all works so slick. :)

Good topic as I'm wondering the same thing. I hate NVU as it doesn't do PHP and has FTP issues. I want to love it though. Right now I'm using skEdit as it has code completion and built in FTP. So that gets my vote at the moment.

Technically probably. But it's amazing at working with vector stuff too. Kinda like a little of Photoshop and a little of Illustrator. A happy medium. That's my opinion anyways. Vector + Bitmap = Fireworks :D

I'm looking for a Fireworks replacement and I think this is the right area to be asking questions. ;) Is Inkscape free? Anyone got a review? Intaglio doesn't look bad. Thoughts on this one? Does anything compare to Fireworks? I love fireworks but it's so spendy. Thanks

I guess we need more details. What are your computers specs? CPU Speed, Memory, HD space available. How are you installing? Upgrade or clean install? At what point do you get the 'can't install' message? Details help. :)

When your iPod is bigger than your hard drive (which mine was) it's not possible to have music in both places. Plus, DVD's are for backups.

It's not for browsing, it for getting a general idea of how the site should render in a browser. Testing is always a MAJOR part of any design.. :)

Quick Question: If I have my HD partitioned into 4 pieces, are they all getting taken care of? Or does only the HD with the OS on it get the special defrag/prebind treatment automatically?

I think I'll try backing up some of my iPod music to a DVD (or cd for testing purposes) and see if Front Row will read the MP3/ACC files then. If so, that may be the best work around for now. Plus I backup my music. Win Win :)

Ok, then why can you connect to other iTunes shared libraries? Isn't it the same idea? Accessing music that isn't on your machine? No one is copying or downloading, just playing.
