I must have misread the software update thing as I was sure it said that it did update the 3rd generation iPods. I was also confused as to why it would update the new ones - shouldn't they come with this stuff already installed?

gah! now I don't know whether to go ahead with my PowerMac purchase, or hold out for the new iMac. If the new iMacs look as good as the last lot, I definitely prefer one of them, and I don't really need the full power of the PowerMac.

I don't have space on my desk for two keyboards. Plus, I can only type on one at once. I have a USB switch which I can use to share a single keyboard and mouse between the two devices if I want to. I guess eBay is the best option.
