Actually it's an msn.com address, although it transfers to hotmail. But that plugin might work. Where can I find it?

Anyone know of a way to use OS X's Mail to retrieve email from MSN.com? I've had to use Outlook because the MSN mail site requires a secure password (Outlook has a checkbox to enable it), but I wondered if Mail could be modified to work too. :rolleyes:

I'm having kernel panics that list a file called com.apple.iokit. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to the crashes, although the last one happened after my monitor came out of sleep. Not sure what hard/software this file is related to, but I understand it may have to do with video cards or...

Are there any OS X utilities out there that will enable placement of app icons in the finder menubar? I hate to say it, but it's one feature of Windoze that would make the OS X desktop a lot neater I hate the Dock, and would love to be able to put the trash can, etc. on the menubar. Anyone?

Sometimes when I turn on the computer, the monitor comes on then starts turning on and off repeatedly, as if it's getting a bad signal or no signal. I thought it was the video card so I put a second one in, but the problem continues. I've tried hooking up a different monitor, but get the same...

Has anyone had success using the Dazzle DV-Bridge to import TV or VHS? I can't seem to make it work with iMovie. Any help would be great!!

That's true - you do in Windows. I just like to have them visible. But I just put my dock in the upper right corner of the finder, and it seems to work well and not be in the way.

Does anyone know if there's a utility out there that will put open app icons on the menubar (always visible, not on a drop-down list) instead of on the dock? It's one of the two or three things I think Windoze actually got right. Any help would be appreciated.:D
