I tried using Dave 5 but its not helping me. Now I can't uninstall it (the control panels won't go a way). Please help!

Is there a way the change the app. name in the menu bar so it will show the icon of the app. and not the name (ex. when Safari is on the 2nd item in the menu bar form the left in the name Safari - I want to have just the icon there), to clear more place in the menu bar. Thanks for your help!
