Plugging it in and out all the time is not a very pratctical thing to do especially in the times we live in that we try to do everything as more automated as possible! Also when the machine reaches 100% ok it stops charging but it doesnt take too long to go down to 99%, so then it starts...

im looking for an application that will allow to charge the macbook automatically when the battery is down. so although the charger will be in the power input the laptop will not charge but only if its batter runs down. this way there will be less power used since the laptop will charge only...

I placed my hds to a different computer and the TMbackup isnt recognised. There are 2 hd. One (1) is my system hd and the other (2) is my TMbackup drive. The files on 2 are there but they cant be recognised as a backup. Is there some way to make them work again?

How can i compress one large file by segmenting it to many smaller ones that can be uncompressed in windows, with the help of winrar? Example, i have a 4GB file and i want to make 4 segments of 1gb, is there such an app that can do this? In windows i can use winrar for this, but for the mac?

a dvd disk image isnt required to check, one can simply play the produced file to see, dont u think?
