no way... OS 9 CD's won't come anymore with OS X.2, but if you have said CD, there's nothing holding you back installing it. Classic works fine.

it seems to me that you have kdelibs3 installed and are trying to install kdelibs3-ssl-dev over it...somehow you need to uninstall "normal" kdelibs3 in order to get latter one to install. dunno how it's done, maybe sudo fink remove kdelibs3? I take no responsibility if something goes AWOL when...

I would strongly suggest against installing conundrums Duality 4 MS 3 on 10.2.2. I did it yesterday, and tried to open BBX Mercury X-theme. It took ages top open with standalone duality (DE) and it asked for admin password several times. Yeah, it opened the theme finally, but somehow it opened...

don't know about any other editors that apps that delete cookies (either all or selected) the cookies are inside com.apple.internetconfig.plist in preferences folder...

also, you can compile several *nix-apps yourself if you have developer tools installed...

back up you personal and systemwide profiles to safe location to retain paths you've set. that at least...also, it could be great idea to back your entire home folder, then move preferences and settings as needed...that's what I did:)

I'm pretty sure that with all Apple has invested in RISC and other technologies like Altivec, they definitely wont be switching to CISC...

well, this might not necessarily mean that Apple is switching for x86-processors, but instead share technology with AMD, where both parties would benefit most of their know-how...
