    use desinstaller to remove the installed package, this may actually have screwed up some stuff, for bash is in jaguars default installation, and I believe it's been differently compiled... In worst case scenario, you'd have to do a reinstall/upgrade of your system software

    as far as I've gathered, Netscape 7 is based on older Mozilla source, and the talkback you are referring to is just web-installer... if you've downloaded the small installer, it connects to some servers and downloads stuff it needs/installs in order for chimera to work.

    i went the bootstrap-way, and have had no problems... I saved some files from my pre-10.2 configuration (profile and .bashrc for example) which had all paths in there...

    password protect a document/file

    make an encrypted disk-image with diskcopy, and store all the files you want to protect there... make the image so it's big enough, and read-write so you can later add what you wish, do not add the password to your keychain.

    Not always...sometimes all the .DS_store-files change ownership, and the icons get messed up all the time. The fix: I've posted this earlier, and I have had to do it on my comp several times (OSXPM screws them up sometimes...)

    Adobe stores it's info at least in "preferences" and "application support"-folders the one you are tryingo to find is "Adobe Registration Database" or similar.
