    in terminal either rmdir or rm -rf something...refer to other threads on this. do not try this if you are faint at heart, improper use of rm can yield you total loss of your data.

    http://www.apple.com/macosx/jaguar/unix.html and afaik, 10.1.5 was still FreeBSD 4.2 modified...now 10.2.x is FreeBSD 4.4 and 10.3 when it's released is rumored to use FreeBSD 5 which is currently staged at beta.

    the problem is not on your side...I tried to connect to http://pordible.ethelthefrog.net/ and http://ethelthefrog.net/pordible, and both ended up trying to connect to http://ethelthefrog.net/pordible/pordible/pordible/pordible/pordible/pordible/pordible/pordible/.... and so on until it stopped...

    Or you could use USB-Overdrive...it lets you customize your mouse at free will (ok, it will never brew the coffee...) and is all around wonder (or has been for me...)

    from System Prefs -> International -> Time and there check that 12-Hour Clock radiobutton instead of 24-Hour Clock (this is how it's in 10.1.5 anyway...dunno bout Jag, prolly the same)

    yup, but those InstallerVice installers are in a habit of checking every partition you have for possible outdated components...I know this explanation sounds not so quite realistic, but I know thay do...I had mine appear since installing Maple 7 via Classic...usuallu those folders get deleted on...

    Jasoco, have you installed anything on those other partitions? I have them too, and I seem to recollect that some installers generated with InstallerVice make them as temp storage for moved items not yet ready to be trashed.

    Jakez, you should not mopve programs from one loation to another, so other app relying on finding them on default location cannot find them afterwards...rather you need to set your path-variables as gumse said. If you use tcsh, follow his directions, if you use bash, check /etc/profile and edit...

    10.2.1? possibly D44? Your luck is running out...10.2.1 is not yet finalized, and it's not good idea to install it on other than test-partition... I know this is not helpful, but I have no other idea...try via terminal?
