strange... i can change the icons for folders, but not for applications, and not for my hard drives... grrrrr

Is it possible to change icons in Jaguar? i tried changing the icons of my hard drives, and of applications, and it doesn't seem to work. It won't let me paste the new icon over the old... anyone else have a similar problem?

nah believe me i restarted it plenty at first. Diskwarrior, Techtool, and Norton all came up empty handed. The thing that pisses me off the most is that the monitor burnt out. that was a nice monitor! ah well, c'est la vie

Ok well some of you may have heard my problem in my Emergency thread. Well I got a new harddrive ok.... 120 gig..... have it formatted in three partitions, 10, 20, and 90..... for os 9, 10, and "stuff" respectively. Got 9.2 running. but now i can't install osx..... and i'm really upset about it...

all the cables and what not check out. disktools seemed to think the problem was with the catalogue file, and thats where norton freaks out - when it gets to checking catalogue structure, it returns that disk error bs. i guess a reformat is the only option..... grrr...... so wait a second...
