    Leopard: Bizarre Safari Behavior

Hey yall, Safari is acting really weird sometimes. I'm working on this website for my boss, and the background image looks completely different from what it's supposed to look like. The background shows up fine under Firefox, Camino, Opera, Netscape, etc. But under Safari it shows up...

    Safari 3.0 beta

I'm surprised no one has caught this yet, but Safari has an inspector now! This could be great for web developers. Right-click ANY part of a web page, and there's new menu item; "Inspect Element." The inspector outlines which element on the web page you are looking at and the inspector window...

    Safari 3.0 beta

OK, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you could drag tabs up and down to create new windows, that is VERY cool. Can I ask something else? On apple.com/safari/ it shows a Safari window on 10.4 (I'm presuming because it has the 10.4 dock), and it has the "cool new itunes metal" look. Yet on my mac...

Just what is so new about Safari 3.0? I'm using it right now and there appears to be NO new features. It looks just like Safari 2.0.

    Safari vs Firefox

Wow I haven't used Camino in a while and thought it was kinda weird compared to FF and Safari. It's very very good and it's like having the best of both worlds, Cocoa + Firefox. Pages load super fast. The themes ain't bad either: CaminIcon (theme changer for camino) I'm going to use Camino...

    Safari vs Firefox

Hi guys. This may be because I'm using a 1 Ghz G4 but I use to use Safari as my main browser but lately I have been using Firefox. I have noticed that Safari renders web 2.0 sites incredibly slow (youtube, digg, myspace), yet firefox loads them much much faster. Also the extensions and...

    Adobe CS2 Problem

It sounds like a photoshop problem, so upgrading the OS makes sense. Adobe itself recommends 10.3.4-10.4, even though 10.2.8 is the minimum, it may not be enough. I'm not sure about that tho. That or try reinstalling photoshop.

Need help installing Indian fonts for Safari or Firefox

Unfortunately, the only thing I can think of at the moment is to reinstall OS X and make sure it installs the appropriate language. OS X supports a butt load of languages, so I would imagine that it should support yours.

    Quicktime hates me :(

Try going to the System Preferences, and then go to the Flip4Mac System Preference. Un-check the box that says "Launch Quicktime Player." This will effectively allow you to view all Windows Media files in the your browser instead of it opening the quicktime player every time. Hope that helps.

Need help installing Indian fonts for Safari or Firefox

If you mean switching your language, then here's what to do: - > Go to the Apple menu. - > System Preferences - > International (Dark blue flag with a white globe on it) - Then drag your preferred language to the top of the list. - If your language doesn't appear in the list, click the "Edit...

    Mac OS X 10.5 ideas

The API's have been open for quite some time, CoreImage basically does the dashboard effect. CoreImage/CoreVideo have been open to developers for a while now, while CoreAudio has been open to developers since 10.1. I've been able to get windows to do pretty cool things and believe me, Apple...
