Weird! I have no clue what could be going on there. It looks like the dock itself's application icon. Have you tried dragging it off of the dock into the trash?

False alarm; nevermind. I found that I mustve hit a shortcut that turned on black & white contrast. Found it in the Universal pane of Sys Prefs. Ok; back to color & non-inverted now. hmm... that inverted was kind of neat though... :D

Title pretty much says what is wrong. I got a little angry at a beachball; and must've hit some keyboard shortcut I dont know.

Try: Click the blue apple in the upper left corner of the screen Click "System Prefrences" Click "Keyboard & Mouse" Select the "Mouse" tab and change the "tracking speed"

Try going to "Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilites > Activity Monitor" End the process "dock". It should restart on it's own.

Worked fine for me. I got QT6 back off of my OS X cd with Pacifist; because QT7 drove me nuts with the stupid PRO thing everywhere. Even "PRO" just to use fullscreen :confused: that's BS

Not really on the topic of Intel and Apple; but if Apple did somehow manage to get OS X ported to x86 and promote it; Microsoft would lose a lot (:)). But; I would be afraid of the reputation of Apple and OS X. One of the reasons windows does not run too well is because it is hard to program a...

I think holding the "X" key right after the boot chime will force it to start OS X.

I wanted to let you all know that I have a avatar that you can recognize me by now. The image is origionally from http://www.gifanimations.com. In the resizing process the animation was lost; but it's still neat. :) Just thought i'd let you know. :D
