    Microsoft Bluetooth mouse

Actually, the extra buttons on the mouse are perfect for Expose, and can be programmed to do this. I only have a 3 button mouse, so I set the scroll wheel button on it to clear the desktop with Expose. Very handy.

According to Mac Rumors (http://www.macrumors.com/). What does this mean for the ITMS?

    Bad man, very bad man...

Ugh, it's blinding to look at! You're going to need a 30 inch display with a huge resolution just to compensate for all the wasted space "Aero" takes up. And there's so much text! I don't know about anyone else, but one of the reasons I love Mac OS X is for it's clean and compact UI...

Is Panther's Mail better than Entourage?

Instead of a smart playlist, Apple should incorporate a smart group feature in Address Book. Have a rule that all contacts with the same last name go into the Family group. Also, have those rules carry over into both Mail and iCal ... that way you could color code e-mails from people in...

(Not)Proud owner of a dead iBook

Person thinking ... "I wish I had 1.25 GHz iMac, my 800 Mhz one just seems so slow ... hmmm" "Hi Apple support, my 800 MHz iMac just accidently fell off the top of my apartment complex, it's still under warranty so can I get a new one" "Sure, we don't have any 800 Mhz models in stock any...

Am I elegible for an educational discount?

Negative. Only high school faculty members are entitled to the discount. On the other hand, in college, faculty and students are allowed. I believe it's kind of an 18 and over thing, otherwise parents could get discounted software cause little Timmy is in kindergarden.

Accessing a MS Access Database in Java

For my class I need to make a Java app that can perform SQL queries on a MS Access database. Is there anyway for me to do this on my Mac, or am I going to have to use a PC with the MS Access driver?

Airport Extreme: With Antenna Port or Without

I would suggest reading reviews of Dr. Bott's antennas. From what I've heard, they boost the signal ... zilch. One review I read said that they got the exact same reception whether the antenna was plugged in or not.

AE dead out of the box :(

I bought an Airport Extreme base station over winter break, and haven't been able to set it up until now since I've been away at college. So I go to plug it in and no lights come on. I waited for a while, tried different outlets, plugged the cable modem into it, and still no lights. Is it...

iPod has LINE-IN and recording capabilities!

This would be fantastic, it would be a great way to record concerts. I bet security would even let you walk right in with the iPod. Get a nice Seinheiser mic and you'd probably have just as good, if not a better recordings than with DAT. Of course, only for bands that allow taping :-D

What will become of the friendly MP3?

Nah ... in a few years hard drives will be measured in TBs, not GBs ... internet connections will be 5 MB/s and then there will be no need for compression at all! Ah it's fun to dream.

    Panther (10.3) Rumor Screenshot Mockup

Yeah I have to agree with Urban. There's something about brushed metal ... it's just cold looking or something. It works OK on some apps, but definitely not the Finder and menu bar. What's wrong with the gloss white used now (minus the pin stripes). It's simple and elegant ... you get too...

BILL & HP copy APPLE Design

How are people so blind? <BR><BR> Is on a similiar track? No, Apple pretty much started this track and others are copying it because they see the great benefits. And fashion over functionality? That's about the dumbest statement I have ever heard. Apple boxes and PC boxes offer the exact...

Peer to Peer file sharing software declared legal

Yes, but you can apply that to anything. Honestly, what other purpose do file sharing apps serve other than to provide people a means of pirating software/music, etc? I can't see any. If you want to download freeware, say AIM, wouldn't you go to their website instead of searching for it on...

Library sharing in iTunes 4... OVER THE INTERNET.

Indeed. There's a warning when music sharing is turned on that it is only for 'personal use', I wouldn't want to piss Apple off and have them remove this feature. Sharing among your friends is fine, but I think coming up with a list of tons of people is a little much.
