    AAC tags?

I think AAC supports ID3v2 tags just like MP3. It's a shame however, Apple has seemed to leave out a couple features of it, such as lyrics.

    iTunes 4 Album Art

Yeah it does suck that iTunes doesn't look up the artwork. I've got 300+ CDs to re-rip, last thing I want to do is scan 300+ CD covers. Another disappointment is that when you buy a song, the artwork is included, but you can't print it out! If I buy an album, I'm going to want to burn it to...

    Underlined links in Safari

I did a search on the forums for this but no luck. I was going to ask about this when Safari was first released, but then I just grew accustomed to it. Anyway, is there anyway to turn link underlining off in Safari?

    Well... it's the 28th :D

Yeah, kinda strange. I wonder why they didn't use an aqua. Or perhaps implement the color changing patent they registered and allow the user to change between a few colors ... kind of like the high end Canon ZR.

    128 AAC vs 128 MP3

Geez I feel dumb, lol some CS minor I am. Another question, will any of you rip your CDs higher than 128 AAC? Is it really worth taking up the extra space? I guess if Apple uses 128 I will too.

    128 AAC vs 128 MP3

So I ripped a song twice, one at 128 AAC and one at 128 MP3 ... the MP3 was actually smaller. I thought AAC was supposed to produce both smaller, and better sounding quality files at the same bit rate. Or do they just mean that a 96 AAC sounds the same as a 128 MP3?

    Well... it's the 28th :D

Do you get a discount when you buy a whole album or is it still 99 cents each? If so, it's better to just go out and buy the cd. But just for 1 or 2 songs, IMS is great.

    Well... it's the 28th :D

OK Jobs, stop restating everything and say its all available now at www.apple.com.

    Well... it's the 28th :D

They listened to me and put the album artwork right where I said to, underneath the playlist window :) iTunes 4 is going to be truly amazing. And since it's called the iTunes Music Store, I'm guessing if they do make it available to Windows, then they will release iTunes for Windows. I think...

    is a phone/pod/mouse combo possible?

Like I said, years to come. I think something like this would be very likely in the future though. Maybe not so much in the sense of a mouse/mp3 player combo etc, but like a small device or credit card that would carry all your info. You could use it as a credit card, id card, it would...

    New .Mac features coming tomorrow

For $100 a year, .Mac members should get, say, 5 included AAC downloads a month ... or perhaps 1 a week. Or they could do it by the year.

    Yet another PowerBook thread

So Apple released the first 17" laptop ... now how about the first dual processor laptop! Take it to the park, do a little work, listen to a little music, cook some hot dogs :)

    is a phone/pod/mouse combo possible?

That would truly be a great idea. Imagine a cell phone, MP3 Player, PDA, HD, and mouse all built into one. Apple could open up 'portals' all over the world. It would simply be a station with a screen, alls you'd need with you is your all in one mouse device. The scroll wheel could be like...

17" Widescreen Studio Display from Apple?

The 20" is a great purchase for the price ... other makers of 20" LCDs charge a bit more than Apple. I check Sony's site, they want $2000 for a 20", for that much you could get a 23" widescreen Apple. But when it comes to 17" screens, Apple's are a little more expensive than other makers...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth

Yeah I have the same Logitech one, it is quite nice indeed. Bluetooth would be nice with a computer with built in Bluetooth though, no need for a USB RF receiver.

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth

Looks like a nice product from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/keyboard/wodbt_info.asp . Does anybody know if this would work with OS X? Also, would you need to use the included MS Bluetooth dongle, or could you use a 3rd party one or a built in one (new Macs).

    Silent iBook update

Does anyone think that the iBooks will be redesigned, say around August? Say Apple chooses to release 970 Macs this summer, would they keep 3 different processors ... 970, G4, and the G3? I guess it would depend a lot on Panther. If Panther is 64-bit, would this require more computing power...

    Silent iBook update

Granted, but neither was the iMac redesigned, yet it has those features. It just comes down to Apple being inconsistent along its product lines. I'm not asking for a Super Drive equipped, 1MB L3 cache iBook, but I think if Apple wants to promote it's digital hub / simple to use computer it...

    Silent iBook update

You're right, people wouldn't pay the extra money ... that's why the 12" AL is pointless. Sure you get a faster G4 processor, but I don't think anyone buys the 12" AL book for a multimedia intensive computer. But that's not the point. The don't even sell the old Airport basestation at the...
