Hi all, my G5 (10.5.4)in work has has some HD errors (From the Disk utility program) that need to be resolved by restarting with the os CD. But The OSX Disc will not load i just get a light blue screen. Is there anyway i can fix these problems? Many thanks

Hi all, I only use my ibook g4 for the internet, but even this is slow, like half second delay on the menus etc (FF3 & Safari). I have run Onyx and cleaned it, but it is still the same. it has 640mb memory on tiger with over 3.8gb of free space on the Hard drive. Any suggestions?

I just did the security (restart) update on it's own and that has worked, i'll try each one i think on their own...

Looks like it is fully downloaded, it just stops on the configuration part. i even did the single updates that don't require restart and they download and install, bat gets about 3/4 away across and sticks. left it for an hour and nothing?

Got the exact same problem, but on my macbook pro 10.5.5 leopard. I have followed the above suggestion (Thanks Satcomer). But i have download the software updates and it is has not restarted, just sitting there with the spinning wheel. Any suggestions
